Welcome to St. James in Batavia, NY. Our community life centers around a very old and very beautiful church building that we are trying very hard to renovate. However, just because our building is old, doesn’t mean our life and ministry would feel at home in 1908.
Our worship is thoroughly Episcopal, except that it doesn’t fit the stereotype of stodgy or way too precious. Instead it reflects the commitments we make to each other and to the Lord Jesus Christ.
If you are wanting to find a place of refreshment, where people know you as a member of the family of Christ, you’ll want to worship with us. We have a place for you and for all who are seeking entry into the Kingdom of God. There is so much more Christ calls us to do and be and we trust he will send us people with new vision and ready hearts.
Before getting lost in a “mega church” try getting found at St. James in Batavia. We eagerly await your visit.
